For over 20 years, Jaryl has represented insurance companies and their insureds, as well as Corporate clients in all types and categories of claims and coverage, including Professional Liability Defense (including among others Brokers, Agents, Attorneys and health care providers), Construction Defense, Personal and General Liability Defense, Employment Law, Commercial Liability Defense, Medical Malpractice Defense, Dental Malpractice Defense, Workers Compensation Defense, Product Liability Defense, Intellectual Property Defense, Insurance Coverage, Bad Faith Litigation Defense, Appellate law, Commercial Transactions, Professional Licensing Defense, Corporate and Company formation, Corporate and Company mergers and acquisitions, Education Law, Health Care Law, Elder Law, Government Fraud and Abuse Investigation and Licensing Defense, Landlord and Tenant Disputes, ERISA Law, Administrative Law, and Real Property Transactions and Disputes.

As to his medical malpractice defense work, Jaryl has represented physicians, nurses, and other health care providers, skilled, acute, and long term care nursing and rehabilitation facilities, facilities providing care for those with developmental disabilities, home health and hospice companies, surgical centers, hospitals, dentists, and oral and maxillofacial surgeons and other dental professionals in medical malpractice cases, licensing and other governmental proceedings and in corporate, employment mergers, acquisitions, leasing, commercial litigation, construction, and other business transactions. Jaryl is Utah counsel for a number of Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Facilities, general counsel for Utah Health Care Association (with a membership of approximately 99 Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation facilities), and Utah counsel for numerous healthcare related companies and organizations. He has also served on the Board of Trustees and is counsel for Utah's largest non-profit corporation providing developmental services to children and families with special needs.

Jaryl frequently lectures on risk management issues and Utah Law Topics before groups of nursing and long-term care facilities, and medical, dental and allied care professional associations. In past years he has also lectured at the University of Utah School of Medicine, the University of Utah School of Nursing, and he currently lectures yearly for the University of Utah Department of Family and Preventative Medicine's Physician Assistant Program.

In addition to his Utah Bar license, Jaryl remains a licensed (inactive status) attorney in both Colorado and Washington D.C. He has successfully represented his clients before all Utah State Courts, the United States District Court for the District of Utah and the United States 10th Circuit Court of Appeals. He is also admitted before the United States Supreme Court.
